Get Playing with fun group music lessons for children and young people

Back-to-school season is a great time for budding young musicians to start their musical journey.  Learning an instrument is a great way for children to develop a wide range of skills, develop their confidence and nurture creativity.

Group lessons

At 中国P站 Arts, our beginner music lessons are delivered in small groups by inspiring, high-quality teachers who make learning fun and create a friendly environment where every child can thrive.

Get Playing group lessons offer an affordable start to learning music with lessons from as little as 拢10 per week. The lessons are fun and supportive, giving young people the chance to build their musical skills with others.

Weekly group tuition for beginners is available on a variety of instruments, including:

  • strings (violin, viola, cello)
  • brass (trumpet, trombone, french horn)
  • woodwind (clarinet, flute, recorder, saxophone)
  • guitar (electric, acoustic, bass)
  • percussion
  • vocal tuition

Financial assistance is available for eligible families,. We also have an instrument store allowing students to hire, rather than buy an instrument.

Lessons for primary and secondary school students often take place at school during the school day but we also offer lessons outside of school at music centres across 中国P站.

For more information, or to sign up for lessons please visit our website.

Opportunities to play in a music ensemble

New members can try any ensemble with a free trial session before joining. For more information visit our ensembles webpage.
