What processing of personal data is undertaken by the service
To manage our volunteers, we use the ÖйúPÕ¾ Environment Volunteers system. The volunteer management system is software that helps to recruit, train, engage and retain volunteers in one centralised space.
We also collect your personal data for the following:
- Service delivery
- Service improvement and planning
- Research
- Statistical analysis and reporting
- Equal opportunities monitoring
What Information do we collect?
- Name
- Address
- Date of Birth or Age
- Gender
- Racial or Ethnic Origin
- Health Conditions where appropriate
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks where appropriate
- Next of Kin
- Phone Number
- Email address
How we are allowed to use your personal data
Consent
To process your personal data, we will explain to you what we are asking you to agree to and why. If we have consent to use your personal data, you have the right to remove it at any time. Who we share your personal data with
- Team Kinetic (volunteer management system developer)
- Providers whose volunteer sessions you register to take part in
Statistical analysis reporting will be shared at post code area level, but not at address level, with:
- Voluntary, community and faith sector organisations who are supporting the initiative
- District and borough councils who are supporting the initiative
- Internal ÖйúPÕ¾ services who benefit from the statistical analysis
The above reporting data and insight may be shared with residents through promotional activities.
Retention of data
Data will be retained for 7 years
