Library Con
Saturday 22 November from 10am to 4pm.
Attention fandom and comics geeks, Library Con is back for 2025 at the newly refurbished Epsom Library. Last year we had over 500 attendees, and this event is expected to be even bigger with workshops, Question and Answer sessions and a cosplayer contest with fabulous prizes. This year we are also partnering with Epsom Square as part of their Christmas Con Celebration with parades, meet-ups and live music.
It is free to attend. Just drop in, no need to book.
There are a couple of paid events during the day. These include:
- Workshop with Comics artist Dominique Duong. Saturday 22 November, 11am to 1pm. Suitable for anyone aged 12 and older. Tickets 拢5.
- Question and Answer session with Alex Fitch of Panel Borders. Saturday 22 November, 1pm to 3pm. Suitable for all ages. Tickets 拢2.
Tickets need to be booked for the paid events. This can be done in person at the helpdesk at Epsom Library or by sending an email to epsom.library@surrecc.gov.uk.

Every Thursday from 10.30am to 11am.
Numbers are restricted and spaces given on a first come , first served basis.

Reading groups
Reading Friends Book and Talking Book group
Thursdays at 4pm. Next date: Thursday 9 October.
A social group to discuss talking books, have fun and make friends. Read, listen and chat.
The group is inclusive and will continue to welcome adults with a visual impairment or print impairment. Customers who don't have a visual impairment are also welcomed to attend.
Come along, meet new people and discuss books that you've listened to or read recently. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
There's no required reading or listening beforehand, just come along. A member of the Epsom Library team will facilitate the session, we can also assist customers with ordering Large Print books, Talking books or books of their choice.

Other events
Yoga class
Join us for a calming yoga class from 2pm to 3pm every Friday (term time only).
Rose is a local yoga teacher with many years experience. Her classes combine flowing yoga sequences with gentle but powerful strength practices. Classes are relaxed and welcoming, with options and modifications to suit all abilities.
Cost: 拢10 per person, per session. You can pay on the day either with cash or a card.

Digital support volunteer
Every Wednesday from 12pm to 2pm.
Do you want help using a computer, the internet, your iPad, tablet or iPhone, or other IT related problems?
