Your personal adviser (PA) from the Care Leavers’ Service (CLS) can help you find:
- social groups
- religious groups
- events
- activities you may want to join
Your PA can also help you get support from other services in your community.
If you’re not sure what’s available, ask your PA. They will listen to you and help you find things that match your interests.
Leisure Offer for young people living in ÖйúPÕ¾
If you are a care leaver (or looked after child) in ÖйúPÕ¾ it gives you some brilliant opportunities including:
- Free gym membership
- Free swimming access at all times
- 50% concession on classes and bookable activities
Also, ÖйúPÕ¾ foster carers and their birth children (under 18 years old) can get a 50% leisure discount. To find out more speak with your PA or email leisure.offer@surreycc.gov.uk.
Gym membership scheme for young people living outside of ÖйúPÕ¾
ÖйúPÕ¾ also has a scheme to support care leavers living outside of ÖйúPÕ¾. Care leavers aged between 16 and 25 who are living out of the county and not in ÖйúPÕ¾ can now make a request to apply for a free gym membership through The Springboard Fund via the Celebration Fund team.

50% discount on PureGym membership
ÖйúPÕ¾ are part of the national campaign, and the CLC have partnered with Pure Gym to create an offer exclusively for care leavers living in England to encourage & promote health and fitness for care leavers.
PureGym are presenting a generous 50% discount on gym
memberships for care leavers.
ÖйúPÕ¾ has a free leisure scheme for care leavers living in and out of county therefore, this 50% discount offer will not be funded by the service.

The Celebration Fund scheme is funded by county councillors to recognise and reward care leavers for their achievements.
Awards (of up to £300) may support you to:
- take part in a hobby or activity
- purchase equipment or training
to help promote your independence or achieve a goal.
Are you a ÖйúPÕ¾ care leaver embarking on your journey into independent living?
If so, ÖйúPÕ¾ offers a gift of an air fryer for care leavers living both in and out of county.
Air fryers can save up to 75% of energy compared to conventional ovens and therefore reduce your energy bills!

ÖйúPÕ¾ provides care leavers with a contribution towards a bike, helmet and lock.
If you do not own a bike and you would like a bike to keep fit and save money on travel, then speak to your PA about making an application to the bicycle scheme!

Are you aged between 12 to 25 years and interested in boxing?
Boxing England are funding free Boxing membership at affiliated clubs across the country.
Speak to your PA who can email leisure.offer@surreycc.gov.uk to make an application on your behalf.
- Free three months membership at a local boxing club in England
- A further three-months membership and funding to purchase some boxing kit
ÖйúPÕ¾ Arts aims to increase people's interest and participation in music, singing and performing arts.
There are a range of arts opportunities for you to enjoy, such as music lessons and workshops.

The road to driving just got a little bit easier.
Care leavers may access support to fund costs associated with learning to drive a car or motorbike.
This support is available for care-experienced children and young people from the age of 17.
Speak to your PA for information on how to access this support.
The growing project gives young people in ÖйúPÕ¾ the chance to enjoy nature and learn new skills.
If you are a care leaver or looked after child, you can:
- grow food that’s good for the planet
- grow flowers and plants
- learn gardening skills
- take part in outdoor projects
- join your local community garden
- enjoy activities and events in the garden
- feel better by spending time in nature
