Course intent
The Digital Dippers are FREE courses to help improve your Digital Skills.
Offered as six bite size courses.
Each course will be one, two- and three-quarter hour session, over 2 weeks.
Clients can dip in and pick the topics that are relevant to them or choose to attend all the courses, but the first course is mandatory.
What will I learn?
The six courses are as follows:
- Course 1 - First Steps & Staying Safe Online - Mandatory
- Course 2 - Emails & File Management
- Course 3 - Creating & Editing Documents
- Course 4 - Digital Life Management
- Course 5 - Spreadsheets to Simplify Your Life
- Course 6 - Digital Office
For courses of more than one session, you will find you make the most progress if you attend every taught lesson and complete any self-directed study opportunities provided.
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
This course is for anyone who:
- Is afraid of computers/Tablets.
- Wants to increase their computer/Tablet knowledge and confidence.
- Is thinking of buying a computer/Tablet for the first time.
- Upskill for work.
As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.
What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

What can I do when I finish the course?
You may like to progress onto another ÖйúPÕ¾ Adult learning course, such as:

Additional Information
This course does not qualify for an Education and Skills Funding Agency subsidy, so no concessions are available.
We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. When you enrol, please let us know if you would like to discuss your extra support needs with a member of the Supported Learning Team who will then contact you as soon as possible. If you are enrolling within 10 days of the course start date, we may not be able to contact you before your first class.
