Digital Marketing - Stage 2 (Online) [HPT]

Course intent

This course is for those who have a good understanding and appreciation for Digital Marketing (DM) and its influence in the world around us. Students will be expected to apply working concepts of Digital Marketing for organisations and are encouraged to draw from real life/working experiences of DM’s features and impact. The course structure will lean on the students’ fundamental knowledge and ensure they can apply concepts in a practical and analytical way.

What will I learn?

Digital Marketing (DM) encompasses all of our social and marketing activities that take place online and on this course you will:

  • Apply theoretical and practical concepts of Digital Marketing for businesses
  • Learn how to have an analytical approach to DM and its tools
  • Build a business case study that applies at least two DM features to present in the workplace
  • Observe and discuss Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values

    Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

    This course is for

  • Anyone with some basic experience in marketing experience or has attended our stage 1 course
  • Anyone interested in developing their Digital Marketing skills for personal or career development

This course will be delivered through a live online session using Zoom

To fully participate in this course, you will need:

An email address

  • A reliable internet connection
  • A computer/laptop /tablet with a fully updated browser
  • A working microphone and webcam.

Once enrolled on this course you will receive detailed instructions for taking part online

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

To fully participate in this course, you will need:

  • Access to a computer/laptop/tablet with a reliable internet connection
  • A working microphone, and webcam

If you struggle to read printed text on a screen, you may find it beneficial to have access to a printer to make your own hard copies of resources.
