Jane Seymour, the third wife of King Henry VIII, may have been Queen Consort for only 17 months, but her impact on history is undeniable. During her brief time as queen, she played a crucial role in mending the rift between Henry and his estranged daughter, Mary. However, her place in history is forever secured by the birth of Henry鈥檚 longed-for son, Edward VI.
