We explore the life of King Henry IV and the turbulent events that shaped his reign. Discover the dramatic rise to power of Henry IV, who went from being the fourth son of John of Gaunt to becoming England's king in 1399. After deposing his cousin, King Richard II, and navigating a web of political intrigue, Henry became the first monarch of the House of Lancaster
