Course intent
If you take statins or have high cholesterol this workshop is a must. We’ll show you the latest
research on Statins and show why they may not be as effective as once thought. What’s the
alternative? What is backed up by science, and what is going to keep you safe and healthy?
What will I learn?
• How Statins were discovered, and which plants mimic their cholesterol reducing effect
- Cholesterol reducing foods to incorporate into your diet
- Why fatty foods are not the pariahs they are made out to be
- Good fats versus bad fats and how to achieve a balance.
- Proven stress reduction techniques for cholesterol management
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
Anyone who has been told they needs to reduce their cholesterol levels or has an interest in eating healthier.
What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?
You may wish to have a note pad to make your own notes.
