In this class, we’re diving into simple yet powerful strategies to support steady blood sugar levels naturally. Balancing your blood sugar is not just for type 2 diabetics, it affects us all.
No calorie counting, no complicated diets—just practical, real-life tools you can start using today.
What will I learn?
You’ll learn what causes blood sugar spikes and crashes, how to avoid that afternoon slump, and which foods and habits help you stay energized, focused, and in control.
Balanced blood sugar doesn’t just affect your physical health—it can also uplift your mood, improve your sleep, and help you feel more in tune with your body. We will explore how small shifts in your diet can lead to big results. Get ready to hack your way to better health—naturally.
Your tutor will demonstrate the following:
- Breakfast: Chia pudding with plant milk and berries
- Lunch: Zucchini Noodles with green pea smash.
- Snacks: Nut and seed energy balls
- Dinner: Collard cabbage wraps with avocado and shredded vegetables.
All dishes are raw and vegan.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?
Please ensure you have completed the following before the first session:
- It is essential all learners click this link https://customer.surreycc.gov.uk/sal-cookery-checklist - complete and submit. Whilst you are not cooking, learners will be around food and tasting food.
- Lynn will hand out recipes for each dish - but please do bring a device or notepad as this workshop is jammed packed with information.
